Spin-On Oil Filter Kits for XK-120 & XK-140
At long last we can offer quality spin-on oil filter kits for XKs. All passageways are sized to ensure proper oil flow and all kits are “bolt-on” -- no permanent modifications are required and you can convert back to the stock filter should you wish. Part number 17-2760 fits all later XK-120s with the FG.2421 filter, which is 4.5” long and was fitted at engine W4383 and to all F-Series engines. Part number 17-2765 fits XK-140 up to engine G.6232 with the “bolt through the top” style filter. The later XK-140 kit fits all cars with the “bolt through the bottom” filter, fitted at Engine G.6233.

NEW Alloy Thermostat Housing For S-Type V-8
 
You’ve seen the analogous piece for the XK8, which has sold well for good reason -- it replaces a crack-prone plastic part with a bullet-proof copy in alloy. We highly recommend this as preventive maintenance. Includes NCE2247AD thermostat housing in alloy, AJ8-5875 thermostat cover in alloy, NCA2246BA O-ring, NCA2270AC O-ring and NCA2270AC screw cap in alloy. Re-use your old thermostat or buy an OEM unit under JA-AJ8-6484 or an aftermarket part under JA-AJ8-6484/X. This kit fits all non-supercharged S-Type 4.0 V-8 up to 2002.5, or VIN M45254.

NEW Hydraulic Engine Mount, XK8 & XJ8
 
These are excellent aftermarket units that fit all “Series I” XK8 from 1997-2006 and XJ8 from 1998-2002. Compare at $107.25 from the dealer. While not a high-failure item, all mounts are considered wear items and many of these cars are now in their second decade of life.

Thermostat Housing Kit 4.0-Liter XK8 and XJ8 Non-supercharged Cars
 
To the cynical among us, there are two types of Jaguar V-8 thermostat housings: those that have cracked and those that will crack. In hindsight, building them from plastic was probably not a wise choice, which is why we now offer a replacement kit made from aluminum alloy that solves this problem once and for all. Kit includes AJ8-2217 thermostat housing in alloy, AJ8-5875 thermostat cover in alloy, NCA2270AC cap in alloy plus NCA2246BA and NCA2269CA O-Rings. For all 4.0 Liter, non-supercharged XJ-8 and XK8.

NEW Steering Rack Bushing Tool
 
This tool neatly removes or installs OEM-type rack bushings without use of air chisels, sledge hammers or language not approved by Pat Boone. Poly bushings basically slide in with hand pressure, but to remove OEM bushings you’ll need this tool. For all Series I, II and III XJ-6 and XJ-12 plus all XJ-S.

Multiple Application

NEW Valve Adjusting Shims
 
Just in, these are made by one of the largest valve-train component manufacturers in the world. The factory part number is etched into the shim for easy identification. These are sold under those same part numbers ranging from C2243A (.085”) to C2243Z (.110”). Coming soon: oversize shims and boxed shim assortments.

NEW Six-Cylinder and V-12 Tappets
Just in, and like our new range of valve adjusting shims, these are made by one of the largest valve-train component manufacturers in the world. We were frustrated by the inconsistent thickness of reproduction tappets and the lofty price of genuine parts, so we made our own to very high standards in the equivalent to 5120 steel. You can find cheaper tappets, but you cannot find this quality at this price.

Gaskets
You can find much cheaper versions of CO-2318 exhaust manifold gaskets, but you’ll be hard pressed to beat the quality of these. Developed specifically to combat the scuffing problems where cast iron and aluminum meet, this is a composite gasket with two layers of graphite and a steel core. The graphite allows the two surfaces to expand and contract at different rates and compensates for surfaces that are not always perfectly flat – like Jaguar cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds.

NEW 3.4/3.8 Rear Crankshaft Seal Conversion Kit
The Jaguar “XK” six-cylinder engine has few weak spots. One glaring exception, however, is the rear crankshaft seal, or lack thereof in early engines. They virtually all leak oil. While kits to install a modern rear seal are not new, this kit combines excellent quality and a price that won’t break the bank. Please note that the crankshaft must be turned down to fit the new seal, so this kit cannot simply be bolted on.

Manufactured exclusively for XKs Unlimited, these premium six-cylinder valves are made by a leading supplier to racing engine builders. Constructed from quality stainless steel, they are far more durable than a standard, production valve. NEW High Performance Lightweight Tappets
Manufactured in the USA for XKs Unlimited, these are beautifully made lightweight tappets. We currently offer them in two variations: Oversize diameter with standard thickness (this allows for a “clean-up” bore of the tappet guide, negating guide replacement) and over-size but thicker than standard, which allows for use of the standard shim range with modified re-ground cams.
