Each unit is made to the highest standards of construction and are stout enough for competition use or general street application. The external screw adjustment provides for extra damping on rebound to compensate for wear or for the demands of competition. We have used and recommend SPAX shocks for street or track use. The external adjuster can be accessed while the shocks are on the car. There is no need to remove the shocks to adjust the dampening when compensating for wear or setting up for the demands of competition. For most models we now stock Spax shocks with a durable powder-coated British Racing Green finish with a discreet XKs Unlimited logo. SPAX shocks are sold individually, and should be replaced in pairs, or axle sets. Non-corrosive plastic boots top the SPAX shocks. With the screw-type adjuster, a clockwise turn will increase the rebound dampening and counter-clockwise turn has the opposite affect.
